About Us.

Creative Backyards is owned and operated by Jerald and Violet Rhodes of Auburn, Nebraska. Jerald has always enjoyed sales and dreamed of offering a variety of product lines designed for the backyard. This dream became a reality in 2022 when Creative Backyards was started. Current product lines include portable structures (sheds, cabins, garages, etc), chicken coops, grain bin gazebos and metal buildings and carports.

Our goal is to help provide every family more space for life with high-quality products backed by helpful, Christ-centered customer service.

Our primary location is at 9510 Renee Ave, Plattsmouth NE 68048. Our display models are always open so be sure to stop in and take a look!

Jerald enjoys interacting with people in a variety of ways. He married Violet Yoder Rhodes in 2011 and they have 3 children- Josie, Reece, and Macie. Raising poultry is one of Jerald’s hobbies as well as choral music. He serves  in a variety of roles at Providence Mennonite Church of Auburn where he and Violet are members.
