10×16 Chicken Coop in Nehawka Nebraska
Chicken Coop Project by Creative Backyards
Jene needed a proper home for her flock on her rural property near Nehawka, Nebraska. Something built right, not pieced together.
A 10×16 chicken coop gave her a setup that’s both functional and good-looking. Almond painted siding, burnished slate trim, and a burnished slate metal roof give it a finished look that fits naturally on a rural Nebraska property. The 16 feet are divided into 8 feet of enclosed coop and 8 feet of run, giving the chickens protected indoor space and room to move. Roll-out nest boxes make egg collection straightforward and fold-up roosts keep the floor clear and easy to clean. Creative Backyards found the right fit and Mid-America Structures built and delivered it. Jene’s flock has a solid, well-designed home near Nehawka, Nebraska.
