Portable Greenhouse Project by Creative Backyards

Tonia in Cook, Nebraska wanted a greenhouse that could actually grow things and look good doing it. She was not interested in settling for one or the other.

This 10×16 floorless greenhouse sits on a concrete pad that gives it a solid, lasting foundation through Nebraska’s seasons. The exterior is finished in red metal siding with charcoal trim, a combination that is bold and purposeful without being overdone. Like all of our greenhouses, it comes standard with 8mm double-wall polycarbonate panels that diffuse light evenly and help maintain stable interior temperatures year-round. Tonia added double doors for easy access, a power fan to keep airflow consistent, and interior shelving to keep her setup organized and within reach. Every upgrade had a reason behind it.

This build had Tonia’s personality in every detail. Getting to be part of that kind of project is genuinely one of our favorite things.
