John needed one building in his Greenwood, Nebraska backyard that could handle storage and a chicken coop without feeling like a compromise on either.
A 10×20 Lofted Barn in white LP SmartSide, black trim, and a black metal roof gives it a clean, sharp look that works well in a residential setting. Dual lofts put overhead space to work for storage so the main floor stays open for the flock. Four insulated double pane windows keep the interior comfortable and well-lit year-round. Chicken roosts give the birds a proper home inside the structure. Double doors on one end and a 48-inch door on the opposite end give him flexible access from both sides, making daily care and moving larger items in and out straightforward. Creative Backyards worked through the layout and Mid-America Structures built and delivered it. John now has 200 square feet of hardworking, well-designed space in Greenwood, Nebraska pulling double duty every day.
