Katelynn needed backyard storage and a dedicated growing space in New Virginia, Iowa. Two needs, one building.
A 10×24 Greenhouse Shed Combo in charcoal LP SmartSide, black trim, and a black metal roof gives it a dark, cohesive look that feels deliberate in a residential backyard. The shed half handles storage and the greenhouse half is built to grow. Double wall 8mm polycarbonate panels on both the roof and sidewalls of the greenhouse maximize heat retention and light diffusion where the plants need it most. Poly shelving keeps everything organized and off the ground from day one. A 10-inch power fan keeps airflow and temperature consistent so growing conditions stay where they need to be. Black frame windows tie the exterior details together across both halves. Creative Backyards worked through the layout and Mid-America Structures built and delivered it. Katelynn now has 240 square feet of hardworking, well-designed outdoor space in New Virginia, Iowa pulling double duty every season.
