Manny and his wife wanted a proper greenhouse on their Plattsmouth, Nebraska property that could handle serious growing through every season.
A 12×16 greenhouse built floorless and anchored directly to their existing concrete foundation gave them a stable, permanent setup without starting from scratch. White painted siding and black trim give it a clean, sharp look in the backyard. The north wall was sided and spray foam insulated to block cold and retain heat where it matters most. Double wall 8mm polycarbonate panels keep the growing environment consistent throughout the rest of the structure. A 10-inch gable fan keeps airflow moving so temperature and humidity stay dialed in. Poly shelving keeps plants organized and off the ground, and a dutch door with window gives them flexible ventilation and easy access without letting the climate control escape. Creative Backyards worked through every detail and Mid-America Structures built and delivered it. Manny and his wife now have 192 square feet of well-engineered growing space in Plattsmouth, Nebraska built to perform year-round.
