This 12×20 portable chicken coop in Nebraska was built by Mid-America Structures and finished in red painted siding with white trim and a white metal roof. The layout splits into an 8-foot enclosed coop and a 12-foot run, so the birds have space to roost and space to move. Nesting boxes make daily egg collection quick and straightforward. It’s a setup that works with the rhythm of farm life rather than adding to it.
Dayton knew what his farm needed. Our job was just to make sure it showed up right.
