Storage was piling up and the garden needed a real home. Mark and his wife wanted one solution that handled both without taking over their Bellevue backyard.
A 12×24 portable cabin from Creative Backyards fit the bill. Built floorless and set directly on their existing concrete pad in Bellevue, Nebraska, it saved them the cost of a new foundation and made use of what they already had. Charcoal painted siding, white trim, and a charcoal metal roof keep it looking intentional in the yard. The 4-foot porch out front adds a spot for chairs or potted plants without feeling tacked on. Two windows, a 36-inch entry door, and double shed doors make it easy to move in and out with tools, supplies, or whatever the garden demands. Mid-America Structures built and delivered it. Mark and his wife now have 288 square feet of organized, functional space right outside their back door.
